Reconstructions

Walking through the confines of Mónica Fernández's creative life reveals the marks of her movements, from the softest ones that move a leaf like river water, to the sharp edges that mark new directions. The selection of works that we present denotes her journey through life, and invites us to reflect on the external and internal movements that each person makes, again and again while living; walking, building, destroying and rebuilding, reintegrating the fragments that still speak, to say goodbye to those that no longer speak.

Reconstructions focuses on those moments of change where the unexpected leads us to question all the certainties that we had pretentiously resolved to create. Those moments where we touch fear, and decide to advance, even with it, along the unknown paths of transformation.
